A crashed pilot is forced to fight with the blizzard in order to walk all the way back to base. First attempt at an arctic environment between comissions. Last one was all ocres, oranges, yellows and warmth pallettes, this time I wanted to do the exact opposite. The structures are heavily influenced by Ralph McQuarrie.
Very, very good work
Wow, just wow.
Cuando camino por el Mojave quisiera que llegara un invierno nuclear... :V
that looks amazing!
Stunning colours - love this.
Oh, a return to the science fiction domain! Very nicely done composition. Also, are those towers of a defensive nature, with....high caliber guns ?
Yes, I swing back and forth from Sci-Fi to Fantasy Thanks mate. They're landing pads. Theres a tiny ship landed on the left one, but res is too small to spot it clearly I guess.
Yes, a little small, unfortunately. But it's still rather nice
PS: Hope to see such creativity for "that other" work as well. If it adds more comfort, we could talk about more possible backgrounds and ambiances, don't want to limit you
Sure! It's next in line just after two character illustrations I've got going on. If you want to propose other settings or ambiances be my guest! I quite like the current one though!
Well, I had a few concepts involving a landscape in an open space entourage. Then the one of a futuristic city, and of a graveyard (wanted to make a contrast for a fiction )
But if all this seems too silly, and you seem comfortable with the "Space Flagman" idea, I am really glad. But you don't have to follow the sketch. You can draw it from any perspective you want
